UBC’s undergraduate team including: Betsy Robertson, Melissa Jung, Samantha Jung, Dominique de Vries, and Sarah Pihowich, took 2nd place at the 15th Annual Intercollegiate Animal Welfare Judging/Assessment Contest hosted by the Ohio State University. In addition to this strong showing, the team won the live animal dairy assessment, and Melissa Jung placed 5th overall among all undergraduates at the contest. This is the second year in a row that UBC has sent a team to this contest.
