About
I currently work with farmers and veterinarians to better understand management challenges in the dairy industry.
I am from Pitt Meadows, BC. During my undergraduate degree I began to explore the field of animal welfare science and had my first introduction to research with the Animal Welfare Program in 2013. After completing my undergraduate degree, I became a research assistant with the program before starting my PhD in September 2016. My previous work has focused on medically unnecessary surgeries (i.e. tail docking, ear cropping) in companion animals, the influence of transparency on perceptions of laboratory animal institutions and public perceptions of elephant tourism.
