Congratulations to recent AWP PhD graduate Lexis Ly, who was one of 19 graduate students at UBC to receive the Killam Graduate Teaching Assistant Award 2024/25 for her outstanding contributions to teaching and learning!
Lexis began as a teaching assistant in her undergraduate degree in Applied Animal Biology (BSc, ‘21). She has since taken part in extensive professional development in pedagogy, developed course content, and facilitated lessons. For the past two years, she was the faculty’s TA Coordinator, where she developed and led workshops to support TAs in Land and Food Systems.
