“The Ticking Clock: Addressing Farm Animal Welfare in Emerging Countries”

Over the last decade many emerging economies, and in particular Brazil, have established themselves as major players in global food animal production. A new paper, co-authored by our own Nina von Keyserlingk and published in the Journal of Agricultural and Environmental Ethics, examines the state of farm animal welfare in these countries.
