AWP MSc graduate Christine Kuo takes on a new role at Dairy Farmers of Canada!

Congratulations to Christine Kuo (MSc ‘25) on her new role with Dairy Farmers of Canada! Christine’s interest in animals began when she had backyard chickens as a kid. Since then, she has worked in farm animal welfare and agricultural sustainability at various organizations.

Christine worked with the Animal Welfare Program during her undergraduate degree and continued to the master’s program afterwards. Her master’s project was about understanding dairy farmers’ experiences with adopting social housing for dairy calves.

In her new role as the Sustainability Specialist with Dairy Farmers of Canada, she is working on national sustainability initiatives related to measuring and mitigating greenhouse gas emissions.
