UNDERGRADUATE ANIMAL WELFARE JUDGING TEAM REPRESENTS UBC IN 2018 ASSESSMENT CONTEST AT COLORADO STATE UNIVERSITY

Congratulations to the UBC Animal Welfare Judging Team coached by PhD students Ruan Daros, Katie Mills, and Laura Whalin. The team placed 5th out of 19 teams in the undergraduate division of the 18th annual Intercollegiate Animal Welfare Judging/Assessment Contest at Colorado State University (November 16-18, 2018). Students representing UBC included Jenilee Bader, Stefani Cruickshank, Katie Harris, Jessica Meng, Brynn McLellan, Kathryn McLellan, and Emma Piercey. Additionally, Kathryn McLellan and Brynn McLellan placed 2nd and 4th individually, respectively.
