Overview: Understanding the views and priorities of different stakeholders, including producers and the general public, is important as a basis for developing animal welfare policy. The program uses a range of tools from the social sciences, including interviews, focus groups and surveys to gather policy-relevant information.

Who we are: This program is a collaborative effort between Professors David Fraser, Dan Weary, and Nina von Keyserlingk and a number of graduate students.

Thanks to our supporters! This research is supported by SSHRC, the University of British Columbia, and the UBC Maurice Young Centre for Applied Ethics.
