The UBC Pre-Vet and Animal Welfare (PAW) Club is pleased to present its 3rd annual Animal Welfare Conference! This year’s conference focuses on “Wildlife Management and Conservation”, with five outstanding speakers joining to share their expertise. The 2019 UBC PAW Animal Welfare Conference looks to shed more light on human-wildlife interactions and how an individual may personally impact wildlife welfare in their day-to-day life.

This year’s conference will be held at the GSS Loft in the AMS Nest (RM 4202), March 8th from 12:30 pm to 4:30 pm. Speakers include faculty from the University of British Columbia and University of Calgary, as well as animal health care professionals from Vancouver Aquarium, and a representative from the BC SPCA.
